Boulder Weltcup La Reunion

Finally, after a couple of bad (at least not satisfying) results I’m back on top again.

Last year I couldn’t climb at the last worldcup due to a finger injury and at the first comp this year it didn’t go very well and I placed 23rd. I didn’t even get in the semis, so I guess I got really pissed and maybe this was the reason why I won the 2nd stage of the bouldering worldcup this year about a week ago.

Yeah, the sunny paradise „La Reunion“ (close to Madagascar) seemed to be not only a good place to win for me but also all the other austrians. Anna Stöhr won the event as well and Kilian Fischhuber placed 2nd after me and ahead of my dutch friend Jorg Verhoeven.

The next worldcup is gonna be in Balgrade (SRB) in about 2 weeks, but before there is the austrian champs and i promise they won’t be less exciting then a worldcup.
