Interview: Lama meets Messner

In November, David is going to Patagonia to try to freeclimb the Cerro Torre. Reinhold Messner, 65, invited the young athlete to his home in Alto Adige (south Tyrol) to exchange expert opinions. On the question what the special appeal is, David answered: “It’s to get out there not knowing what is going to happen”.
